Same here. Midday for me. Apparently there's an autodialer at work for the telemarketers that just dials numbers throughout the day to see when people are most likely to pick up. This information is then sold to telemarketers who actually *say* something when you answer next time. It's slimy...it sucks...and if it originates in Venezuela there's freaking little any of us in North America can do about it short of hiring a mercenary battalion with our combined coffee money.
It can't be a Venezuela number. Numbers in Venezuela consist of a 3-digit area code plus a 7-digit subscriber number. Add in the country code of "58" and that makes for a 12-digit number. This number is only ten digits, thus it must be area code 587 in Canada. It's probably fake though: most VOIP providers allow anyone with a PBX to set their own caller-ID - you can type in anything you want.

I just got called by this number. Of course I didn't pick up. It's probably another Rogers scam.
Ahh! Last one was 9 days ago to my Virgin phone, this one was just now to my Petro-Canada Mobility phone... Again, didn't pick up.

they called me too, when i tried calling back, i got a recording saying the number was not in service. Its coming from somewher in Alberta
