My friend got a call too from this number around 7:56 PM. When he tried to call that number back, he was prompted with the automated message: "You don't have international service." But it's weird because it's an Edmonton/Calgary number when I checked it on the net. No voicemail message, nothing!
They call in reverse order of the numbers - my cell is 76**, my wife's is 75** - I got a call about half an hour ago, and they just hit her. Debt consolidation blind robo-call.
It's a fake dept collector scam. Call back and press nine (9) and you will be removed from the list.
They called my virgin mobile cell too, i live in saskatoon. No message but when i called back to see who it was I also got the overseas calling thing.
I just bought a brand new phone 2 days ago and received my first spam voicemail. The phone is barely out of the box and my first voicemail is some crap telemarketer.It says "save $1000's press 1 now to find out how you change your financial security forever. This is the message the creditors that are hounding you don't want you to hear. Take back control of your finances and control your future now. Then it says press 1 if you want to hear a brief message or press 9 to be placed on their do not call list."
