I am so sick of getting these calls. It begins "Hello, this is Rachel with cardholder services . . . " It is a solicitation call and you should NOT give them any information. When I asked if they could remove my number they said "NO" and hung up. LOL
I've had a decrease in calls, not stopped, but less, ever since I followed the wise advice on here to not answer the call in hope of getting the chance to cuss out these pieces of crap. I'm mildly amused that two morons, so far, have given my last comment thumbs down. There are many good posters on this site, and there are also a lot of really stupid people on here. All of the conspiracy theory halfwits, the dopes with a political axe to grind, the barely literate, and the people that combine all of these traits. I'm done Googling phone numbers and checking to see if they show up on this website. This is a good source of info for someone that has no prior experience with this problem and good luck to you.
I did the same thing, but the guy was getting really frustrated about not being able to pull up my info 5 times. When he finally told me he could not find my info, I replied "I know, it sucks getting scammed doesn't it. Another thing is that if it is a cell press IGNORE instead of answering, going to voice mail, or just quiet. This seems to stop them for about 2 or 3 days.
