I think it's a medical bill collection joint. Not sure... They call & hang up before my phone can even ring. Morons!

Rings once, hangs up. I've received two calls from this number, 1st 12:30pm 9.5.14, 2nd call 2:05 pm 9.10.14 Caller ID says New Hampshire.

It is a bill collector.

they ring 2 times and hang up this has been going on for over 2 months

call back the number they called you from and wait for a live operator.Ask them how their day is going, how the weather is, what kind of lunch or dinner they had. Pretty much any BS small talk to occupy them and keep them from doing their job. Just be very friendly and every time they ask about professional matters, hold your course of small talk. This is how you waste the time of the employees but also the $$ of the company paying them to work while they small talk about their breakfast burrito with you.I advocate this behavior because this number is not listed as being owned by any company. As much as that could be a tactic of a debt collector to ensure engaging live persons instead of getting screened by caller ID; this lack of number listing and lack of clear identification of the company could very well be a scam posing as debt collectors to extract personal information for the purpose of identity theft. So since it's a gamble about who they are and they're certainly lacking in the professional conduct department, I strongly advocate treating these individuals as scammers and to waste as much of their time as possible to prevent them from scamming others.Best of luck.

i got a call from this number on my work phone. i didnt answer cause i did not recognize the number. thanks to all u people who helped me not worry about this number
