First of all, it is unfortunate that yourself, and your wife, lost ANY money to these drug-addicted card services scammer lowlifes. The scam is not about a loan, but about lowering the interest rate on our credit cards. As most of us know, the major credit cards all have their own first four digits which precede our individual numbers. These druggies use that to their advantage to fool people into thinking they actually represent our credit card companies, and already have our information. Now, all they need are the last 8 digits, the expiration date, and the security code on the reverse of the card (they most likely already know our names and addresses) and off to the races they go, to drain the card of all they can get. You're correct in saying it only takes minutes--they're in the process as we speak --no time to call the card company--it's over with! It' so important that people that have knowledge of this scam, share it with others, before they are cheated!
Got a call from 604-251-1333 about lowering my credit card balance but I do not have a balance, when I pressed the #1 option a [***] came on and wanted my card info to lower my interest rates, I told him to stop bothering me and take my number off the list, then he told me and I quote " [***] off you [***] and started to laugh and hung up."I called my telephone provider and they tell me there is nothing they can do?So much for protecting the innocent!!!!
when somebody call from this number regarding credit card interest rate , the representative told you are very lucky and aligible for low interest rate , then they ask about your bank and credit card details . Unfortunalty give my all details to them. After i realize it was wrong. so i call to Bank Credit card department and inform to Bank about this, Bank says its scam. so don't give to your credit card detials to anyone.if any person give the details to them so He/She has to call their Bank immediately and ask everything and go for cancel the credit card.
got this same caller today at my sister's house - In MONTREAL - its a scam they say they are a company dealing with 29 banks to be able to reduce your visa or master card rate to only 11 percent ( instead of 18 or 19) . Give them all misleading fake information, keep them on the line as long as possible, they will find it very expensive and stop , if everyone does the same.
This caller has called a couple times offering 'better credit card interest rates', most recently today, my mother requested to be put on their 'do not call list' and was informed by the man on the other line that he could only do that if she asked in a seductive voice. He insisted when she refused and then refused to transfer her to any sort of person of authority. She hung up and attempted to call back in hopes of getting someone else and there was no answer.
We've had several of these calls in the past year and we're also registered on the DO NOT CALL list which doesn't seem to work. I've always just hung up but it's very annoying to keep getting these calls.
Probably won't call back....I quoted several scary sounding but completely made up statutes that I was going to use to bring them all to justice. Said they were "Credit Card Services" and invited me to look at the back page of my Visa bill to see that they're legit. Problem is, I don't have a Visa. I let him carry on about how he was going to help me save thousands of dollars, and then answered with the above mentioned rant. He hung up. I was sad, it was kinda fun letting him believe for 30 seconds that he had a succesful catch and then pulling the rug out from under him. I hope that doesn't make me a bad person, but at least I'll be a level above these d-bags in Hell :D
I just received a call from this number. It's a credit card consolidation scam.I told them I had documents I needed to fax to them ASAP and I needed their fax number. The fax number is: 514-846-9287Fax them a cease and desist letter using www.faxzero.com (it's free) and legally, they are not allowed to call you again.Good luck!!
If you would have read the previous 9 pages of posts you would have learned the card service scammers are simply drug users out to cheat the unsuspecting. There is no reason to speak with lowlifes such as these.
