Get 2-3 calls a week on home office, home and cell driving me mad credit services is who they identify themselves. I am not prejudice (or spell) but I am getting that fed up with asking them to remove me from there calling list I finally said to the East Indian " you were not good enough to follow in your fathers footsteps" he said what do you mean I then said you figure it out.
Fraudulent--yes, a credit card company --No. These are the card service scammers, who are simply out to get our credit card numbers so they can continue their drug addictions! Many still don't realize that this is not a legitimate business, only a group of junkies out to rip us off.
I got this call last night around 830pm.. I didnt answer it but it did leave a voice mail on there saying this is my final notice or something i get these calls all my machine all the time.. right now i dont answer my phone ever.. only when I know my family is traveling overseas or something thats it... rest of the time i never answer my phone if i dont know the number
The reason they keep calling back is because in their data base it is showing you answering and following the automated instructions. If you receive any phone call from any number other than your credit card company then it is fake. Even your credit card company won't call you from a number that is not a toll free number. Get wise people and if in doubt, don't answer the question or even the phone. Call your credit card company and see if it was them or not. Their number is always on the back of your credit card. Please don't be a satistic to fraudulent scams.
Don't answer the phone, but if you do, it'll be another automated message, just hang up. They may still call but eventually they will stop. No response from your number means no possible money for them. By the way you did the right thing to search the number on the web. You found this blog which is telling you that this number is just a bunch of scammers trying to make a quick dollar from unsuspecting people.
NUISANCE CALLSI too had a call from this number at 9:07pm two nights ago. I used to be plagued with nuisance calls like this every day and sometimes twice the same day, this call was the first one in a month. I have drastically reduced these nuisance calls, when I contacted my local telephone company and they informed me that they now have a free 'Call Block' service, as another addition to their Call Management Services and by dialling *60 and listening to the recording, I first had to put my 'Call Block Service', "On", then I was asked if I would like to block the last call I received.I have to add that it cannot block some 800 numbers or political or charity callers.Incidently this service is not yet listed in our telephone book, but I know that it is readily available for many institutions like Eastlink, although there might be a limit on the number of callers, you wish to block.
I agree with a lot of the above comments. It is crazy that they have the balls to say you have a credit card when they don't know who they are calling. I asked them how they know if I have any debts when they don't even know who I am. They said they could see I had a credit card. I asked what is my name. I think I scared the person because she hung up on me.Wish they would take my number off their list. I
