You've done it many times and it works?? If it worked, why did you have to do it many times????????
Billie obviously suffers from lack of being held or possibly dropped on his head. Name your cliché. :)
Company is a credit card fraud company, will try to get your credit card information offering lower interest rates; had my full name (which isn't Tiny Rage) and really creepy - reported to both the bank and the Canada DNC List - said they were "Visa Credit Card Company"
Yep, they've called many times here... have been phoning about 3x/month for over a year. We've talked to them several times. Been hung up on several times. They say they represent the credit agencies and banks, yet we cannot contact them directly. I can't imagine a company telling their customers, "no... you cannot contact us if you wish to conduct business"! Today, the person agreed to put us on the do not call list (previously when we've requested this we've been suddenly disconnected). We'll see...
Called me again (3rd call of 'final warning to reduce credit interest') - its another SCAM! Please Google for "CBC Marketplace: To Catch a Telemarketer." It is an expose of these off-shore call centres, most are located in Karachi, Pakistan. They are knowingly committing fraud; the names are fake; the numbers on your call display are spoofed (fake and computer generated) and change every month or so - but its the same call centres. These call centres are hired by, or are part of, organized crime. ANY of the fake surveys, win a cruise, lower your interest/credit card, claim your prize, free travel/timeshare, fake Microsoft Tech Support - are ALL scams trying to access your personal data, credit card info, income level, employment info, or access your computer TO COMMIT FRAUD. They use the data to create Fake IDs and commit more fraud in your name (including fake passports!) - this is world-wide, people! Check the RCMP Top Scams website.Do not speak to a live rep, press ANY buttons, or try to call back - this just confirms your number is valid and you get more calls. JUST HANG UP. Don't WASTE time debating with these people or being rude - they will note your number and target you for MORE 'nuisance calls'! All they care about is trying to reach a 'live number' and try to scam you - you are nothing but a potential 'mark' to them. They sell/share/rent the lists, as well as using robo-dialers by computer over VoIP connections to prevent tracing (can you say 'crooks'?). Reporting to your anti-fraud unit does help; writing your elected official to pressure them to support funding the anti-fraud units, and use trade agreements to get the other governments to crack down; and keep up the good postings. The Do Not Call Registries work well for LEGIT companies, who follow the FCC or CRTC regulations. Its the Crooks who don't CARE and LIE.
i just these calls go through to my fax machine, hope they enjoy the Squealing in their ears
