Just called me.. Of course I NEVER answer long distance numbers I don't know. They were using a recorded voice message that went through to my voice mailbox. The pitch was that it was about the 'Stimulus Program'... Press 1 to find out more. .. .. SCAM!
the best thing to do is not answer ,do not pick up the phone if so they know it is a real number and there is a receiver on the other line ,in doing so they know eventually someone will pick up
Have had several calls from this number. Very annoying so decided to answered the most recent call (March 10/14 6:49pm CDT). Automated response said to dial "2" to have remove from listing. Did that and got the response "not a valid option". Dialed "1" to speak to a person: Caller told me it is a B.C based company company could reduce my credit card interest.I told the individual I was on the Federal "Do Not Call" list and would be reporting their violation. Received a rather rude response.
Got a call AGAIN from this number -getting quite tired of this. Do not call list isn't doing what it is intended to do
Picked up as saw M McGee but recorded voice said Please hold whilst your call is being transferred. So I hung up

scumbag of unknown origincall display says: McGee MThe police in Canada do not care about scam artists. They have more important things to do like generate revenue, even in violation of the Charter of Rights(here your ticket and you are not allowed to dispute in court).The police also refuse to go after international phone scammers, as its to hard. Meanwhile they keep going to other countries to bust Canadians for not breaking that country's laws. Plus allowing U.S. police officers into Canada to bust heads of Canadians, in violation of the sovereignty laws.
