An obvious fake name of McGee M is included with this 604-0251-1333 which can not be called back,which is certainly a soliciting call to me even though I am enrolled with do not call.I am not answering phone calls from numbers I don't know or names I don't recognize.I use the block service, Star 60 and follow prompts

(604) 251-1333 called my number in Edmonton. The recorded voice said, "I am Sandra, from Card Service . . . Interest rates are going up . . .get your lower interest rate . . press one now . . ." I said nothing. I just listened, and the recording repeated 3 times. If this supposed M. McGee is really genuine about helping me, she would have her real phone number on display, and she would have a company name listed as well. I am curious, how does she know interest rates are going up? I don't engage with such anonymous recorded voices because a good company does not treat, or solicit, possible customers like this.

Got the Sandra B.S. call too. Only answered because I'm expecting a business call from 604, so needless to say wasn't impressed. One way the government could help cut back on these calls would be to force telecom companies to charge clients $5 per call. Yes, it would hit a lot of legit businesses, but I'm afraid the scammers have rendered the telephone an invalid way of soliciting business anyway, so legit businesses need to look elsewhere.

I got the same re my credit card...recorded, looped message that just kept playing

I just receive a call from this number, stating important information regarding my credit card. Thank God for call display.

That is not only somehting to do scamming; the caller is also responsible for luring minor, kinking, and posing threat to personal safety.The caller could have violated the criminal codes already. Inform and report to the local authority.The caller might have used a few numbers for spoofing; it has been common recently.

"Crédit card services". Yeah right! I reported them to the rcmp. Your phone company has directions to follow to block the number
