I have had this call numerous times, the recorded message. Second last call I asked them to take my number off their call list, the guy said one word "sure" and hung up. This morning when they called I asked the woman caller what the name of her company is?" Caller replies: "Oh we work with Visa and Mastercard " Me: "What is the name of your company?" Caller:" I learning " Puzzled at this name, I asked her how to spell the name of the company. She replied "DUMB A**!", Me:"What is your companies contact info?" Caller: "STUPID, OH [***] YOUR AS DUMB AS F**K" Caller hangs up. I will follow up with a privacy complaint with telus, this is abuse, and no legitimate company would have their employees behaving like this. As well as their recorded message sounds like a scam. I suspect a call to the R.C.M.P might be helpful as well to warn the public of this scam. It sounds like a call centre in the background.

11:20 a.m. EST June 10, 2013 - Auto voice recording from this number informing me to avoid high interest rates on my CC and to reduce my limits. Informs me to stay online. Fortunately I've been around long enough to know my cc bank will call me if there is a problem.

Called numerous time with threatening "important message" about my credit card (which I don't own).

This number has called me time and again, they never leave a message and they never talk to you, they hang up. Why do people do this? Waste of time on both parts. So sick of this number.

They just called here. No one bothered with the phone, nothing on the answering machine either. I think there ought to be a way that if someone uses multiple auto-dialers, they should be detected and charged 1000 per use per call. Then I would say... go ahead and use your auto-dialers... hehe

Unfortunately, unless the callers are actually in Canada (you can pretty much guarantee they are not), there is absolutely nothing that can be done. It's the governments of countries like India and Nigeria that need to be nailed to the wall to stop these guys.

No message left. Didn't recognize the number. Ignored.

States they are trying to lower your credit card interest rates and then ask for your credit card numbers. Did not give them any information. Hung up!
