Probably the most obviously spoofed number of them all, as this is the Directory Assistance number for the 604 area code (B.C.). The number never calls out. I got a call on my cell but oddly it didn't ring the phone it just went straight into the "missed calls" list. Don't bother calling this one back - this will not be Telus, but a scammer. You can safely block it though as D.A. will never phone anyone!
This person phoned me and hunged up,,,,and when i heard if the left a message, i heard a rap music in the back without any word or message.
Some fool just did the one ring and hangup with this number. Too bad the silly little fool doesn`t know they`re using the directory assistance number to call from. Idiot. Ignored and deleted number, never answered it.
Received this call the first time approx. 6 weeks ago. Did not answer but ended up with a directory assistance charge to this number on my next bill. Don't know how the scammer would profit from this. Received another call today, did not answer but notified my provider right away.
Phone rang once. Number showed up as BC’s directory assistance so don’t call back or you will be charged for directory assistance. Scammers

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
