If you get a missed call from this number, DO NOT CALL IT BACK. I did, and my phone company charged me $3.50 for using Directory Assistance. I gave them the link to this thread, and said I haven't called DA in the past 5 years, and demanded they remove the charge from my account. It's only a few dollars, but it's the principal of it. Seems a pretty convenient way to make a few extra dollars. Who knows what's going on, but don't call it back, is the lesson learned.
Number is in BC, they called in Quebec today, they hang up after not even 1 ring, more like just a demi-ring (instantly). DON'T CALL BACK this number, some people have been charged a bill by their phone co for calling back this number. NE RAPPELEZ PAS CE NUMÉRO!It's obvious they are mass calling Canadians as fastest as possible from this number so people call back and they make money this way, criminal scums!
I blocked them last year and see they tried again, they don't get a ring they get nothing when they try my number and my phone doesn't even ring at all. With today's technology there has to be a way to boot these scammers out permanently.

I called Citibank's other number and confirmed this was their Consumer Support number. It is legitimate. Processed the information they needed to verify my account. I originally thought it was fraud but it is real.

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
