I also have nomorobo via TW and it is a godsend....however today this number rang once and was caught....only one ring...then nothing....but it rang back almost immediately and rang maybe four times....I will block 608 371 6666 and hope it helps....I have had that moron years ago claiming to be from Microsoft.....with the accent.....I might add if you let the call go long he curses you out.....

I have AT&T U-Verse, and they have a great call blocker. You can go online and see what/how many calls each day it's worked on. The problem is it only blocks 20 numbers (!) That's not even close to what I need. I'd gladly pay a few extra bucks a month for blocking 200 or 300 numbers. I'd pay more for 1000 or so.

Same thing (piggy backed call)...Received a call from this number in the past. A woman started asking questions about medicare. Just blow a high pierced whistle into the mouthpiece and then tell them "now you need it"

this spammer is now spoofing the nomorobo telephone number used to report a spam call.

Same thing - heard some mumbling then disconnected..Caller ID shows Janesville, Wisconsin, the home town of Paul Ryan

I have an old-school phone answering machine (uses micro-cassettes even!) that picks up on the 4th ring. If a robo-caller is calling multiple numbers at once, almost certainly someone else would have picked up by the 4th ring. Regardless, if it's someone that really needs/wants to talk to me, they'll leave a message and I can pick up. If I recognize the number/name on the caller ID, I pick up right away. That works fine and it's somewhat non-aggravating.

This number is actually used by no** more**robo to let "live" callers get through. They are given the option to dial a code and their call will go through and not be blocked. My doctor's office is in the hospital and they use a toll free number which gets blocked. They dial the code and then I can hear them on my answering machine and pick up the call. The Call Blocker on my phone is great for blocking robo calls but the scammers are catching on and using the code to get through and not be blocked.

1st call came through without a caller ID and then stopped, received call again this time with the #. didn't pick up.
