Left a message in, what sounded like, an Eastern European language. Didn't understand a word of it.

I noticed that many of the reports here are a few years old. I recently signed up for Nomorobo and it's a phone service that weeds out robo calls. If an actual person is on the line, the service will ask them to prove that they're human (sorta like CAPTCHA) and if they answer the question correctly, Nomorobo will send the call through. They're website says that have to change the caller ID to the 608 # or it would just repeat the cycle. It's a really cool service but there's no way to know who is actually calling unless you answer (due to the caller ID change) just know it's an actual person. Hope that helps.

This number calls at lease 2 to 3 times a day

Caller identified himself as being from the Census Bureau following up on an on-line survey. Unfortunately, this call was not blocked by no mo robo. I hung up after the caller (who had a mellifluous voice) started asking personal questions which were unnecessary to achieve any purpose other than pfishing.

This was great........... I blocked it cause it was a scam caller.. THEN when I called the number back... I get a recorded message saying its a Robo block caller hotine.. please leave the number you want to block and hit #.. THen it hangs up. They PIMP the people who call THEM to complain.. Nice little twist that..........

This number is associated with NOMOROBO.COM which serves as a spam blocker for your phone. If this number shows on your phone, it means that you recieved a spam call that got through the nomorobo. If you have this feature on your phone, simply login to your acct and report the number that got through (usually that number will appear in your call log right before the robo centers) and now they are blocked too.

The first call I'm guessing nomorobo stopped it. Immediately followed by a second call saying they were from a bank name I recognized and would like to go over my mortgage information and could I just confirm the last 4 numbers of my social.I told her no, I would not give my information and she started to say she could ask an alternate ID question at which point I hung up.The caller ID said Maine Med Ctr.

Caller said he detected a problem with my computer.

Said they were from Johnson Law Group and they were trying to contact someone (gave the name). I told them he didn't live here that he moved to Alabama. HA! This is some scammer that has tried to get hold of this person for months. Stating they are from Johnson Law Group. These people are a scam. Regardless of who they tell you they are.

This is a collection agency, assoc credit services who left a message with an 800 number callback.
