This must be a really popular spoofed number. Mine came up as "Name Not Found", but thick accent said they were calling about virus on my Windows 10 computer. I have a MAC..Reading the many different comments, the callers using this number ranges from Debt Collectors, Medical Alerts, Insurance Claims, Social Security, Alarm Companies, etc...

Shows on caller ID as Unknown and somehow they're getting through Nomorobo. They've called three times today and I don't pick up because I don't answer numbers I don't know with no ID. When it goes to voicemail, they hang up.

They keep calling my business number - it rings a few times and then hangs up. When I called the number back to tell them to take me off their call list, it says it's a ROBO CALL number? WTH?

I receved a c all from 608 371 6666.On my display it showed MAINE Hospital When I called back it was the Robo report line.

First I got a call from AMER REAL CAP 212-415-6500. NMR has it blocked. Immediately following that call, I got a call from this number. No message left.

Person identified self as John Cohen and said his company was a contractor which was doing work in the neighborhood. He hung up when I told him: "I am on the FTC Do Not Call registry so you shouldn't be calling me."Here's a funny one: the spoofed phone number that shows on caller ID is the number for reporting calls to my call blocker. Too bad no one has called back and reported this number to the blocker before I just did.I'm so pleased with my call blocking service. I was getting over 100 telemarketing calls a month and the service screens out 99% of them now. When the telemarketers try a new spoofed number that does get through, I immediately report it to get even.Hint to the telemarketers who read the 800notes website: the last digit of my phone number is 8. Call me with a new spoofed number and that number will be quickly blocked for everyone who has a good call blocker. I just reported your spoofed number. So maybe you should delete all the phone numbers ending with 8 from the database that powers your robocalling equipment.

First call blocked (caller ID came up as 600 371-6666 Maxim)) - 2 seconds later phone rang 4 times. (caller ID indicated 608 371-6666) I didn't pick up, but they left a message. "This is Pablo from Maxim - I am calling for Jason Cross ...wanting to talk to you about your involvement in ----- (some company I never heard of) " They called me by name. I erased the message.

Just got a call on my cell phone from this number. The caller said he was with "Clean Energy Research" and they were working with homeowners in our area. I told him we were not interested. He was very polite, and he called me by name. Very curious about who they really are and what database they're using, especially since it appears several different companies use this phone number.

Total scam

First call from 908-279-0100 WhosWhoAmerica. Rang twice. I did not pick up. Then call I recognized as possible scam 608-371-6666 rang three times. I did not pick up.
