You have to go to the website that you became a member of. You deal with them and not the company that is charging your card. If you call the number they will need your creditcard number in order to make a claim to the website that is charging your card. Cut out the middle man, stop being lazy, and talk to the website YOU joined and most likely without reading the terms and user agreements.

Hi i saw this charge on my husbands credit card bill..does it mean he signed up for friend finder? it was for 26.99??

After some research this is a fraudulent use of the credit cards, you will need to state that to your card provider and cancel the card and ask for a new number to be issued. Someone is using the number stolen from another online site that has been compromised. You may find that the card provider will refund the fees. Be wary!

I had 2 charges on my credit card for 29.99 and 2 charges that were bounced, one for 19.99 and another for 29.99. I never gave the card number to anyone and am really confused how they got it. They claim someone ordered it using my card. No way did that happen. I use that card for utilities only. I only use it for my home phone, dish network, car insurance, and my cell phone. I have never had an issue with it before. I asked them how they got the number and they would not tell me. They said I needed a supeona to find out or the bank needed to investigate it. They refunded the first 29.99 and said the other one is in the system for the refund. We will see. I have to admit that this whole thing makes me very nervous, that they can access a card number and not be held accountable for it. I must admit that I called 8885758383 and they were very helpful about refunding the money and yes I did verify the credit card number, they already had it so what the heck.

I was charged $12.03 and did not authorize any charges to friend finder and found out that they got my charge account number from Yahoo.com. They also said that they could not refund any other moneys.. it is a scam! I had to change my credit card number to avoid any further charges.

My husband's bank statement has this charge: "FRIENDFINDER 610-7571929 CA 4633 CHKCD PURCH" for $161.82. This is a lot more than the $26.99 charge you are describing here. This is very out of character for my husband. He is at sea on a boat for another week and I cannot contact him. Is this fraud? Should I pursue this at the bank, or with my husband when he gets home?

I placed an online order for pc games through POGO.Used my credit card and hotmail email. ( I know not a good idea).Ended up with a VIDEOONDEMAND 610-7571929 charge. $42.35Called ny credit card company and they callled the company in question. They had my credit card number , security code number from back, my address and IP address. Had the account cancelled by the banks request to them. ( Don't think they would of done it, if I had of asked).The bank will not reimburse me because they said with all of the info it came from my home. That is BS because someone out in cyperspace intercepted all the info and used it.
