i joined a number of dating sites last year and have only just realized that they all charge automatic monthly renewals until YOU cancel them.Friend Finder is the last one I need to cancel but I can't remember which site it was.I've complained to two other sites about taking money out automatically not there's anything I can do as it's in their terms and conditions.I didn't think I was that much of a dummy too!
My AARP VISA was charged $26.99 on 2/4/09. I check my credit card account on line at least once a week. That is how I found it. I have no idea how they got my credit card number. I only shop on secure sites & am VERY careful when surfing. I reported it this morning to VISA. I am going to call the number & give them a piece of my mind.

I found this number on my bank statement, too. It said: Visa Purchase (Non-pin) Pay-bcomcs.com 610-7571929I have found out this is a charge for Bondage.com I have a feeling that the company processing the payments is used by many of these same sort of adult sites.Easiest way to get rid of it is to cancel your credit card.
I do not visit these sites at all yet charges are appearing on my card it all started after a bad virus on my computer makes me wonder where the money is really going not sure how to stop it

We receive calls at our place of business from these people every day and they claim to be with Spectrum. It sounds like a call center in India; noisy background noise and each person who calls has a strong accent.

Evidently gets next if kin names from obituaries and calls them all, over and over. Will not say what they are calling about until you give birthdate and ssn of the deceased.
