I think DO NOT CALL IS selling our numbers because I have reported many numbers to them, they never do anything but each time I call them it seems shortly after I get another telemarketer. Do you notice many of these numbers have been reported to DNC and yet we see the same complaints over and over?
I have been getting a call from this number regularly. No one answers immediately when I answer the call. I just hang up everytime. I do not want anyone using my number to make any long distance calls or unwanted calls from it.
No message left but when I called the number it says it is not a working number.
I keep getting these calls as well, I also reported them to do not call- they don't do anything, they are as useless as these telemarketers. If anyone out there know who we can report DO NOT CALL TO please post this!!
I am getting these calls 2-3 times a week. I only have caller ID on one of my phones, so if I'm busy in the other room, I have to run to that room to get the phone. Husband is disabled, and I am a full-time caregiver with enough problems without this harrassment. Hitting #3 to be removed hasn't worked, hitting #1 to talk to live operator gives me a person who says I will make sure you are removed, only to get the call again within a few days; sometimes the same day. I've given them the run-around, I've used a foreign language to talk to them, so they would get frustrated and hang up, but the idiots keep calling.
I do the exact thing. I have a user on my android phone which is called mr spammer, whole contact list contains a lot of numbers. I simply add it there. I also turn on the option to send this to voice mail, so i dont get bothered.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
