The benefit is that when the call rolls to an actual person on the other end it COSTS THEM TIME AND MONEY to be of the phone with you - even if only for a few seconds - without them gaining anything. If everyone did that, it would drive them out of business. And, if you're into it, you can ask some questions to extend the call time before either you or they hang up to drive their costs up even more.But the best approach is to not even pickup the phone. If you don't know the name/number, just let it ring...
Same here, they have been calling twice a day for 5 days now, hang up when I tell them I don't have any credit cards or that I want them to take me off their list. You cannot call them back either, it doesn't work. I finally remembered I can block calls on my cell, so am doing that today!
I got call from this number 612-222-7091.I called back and the system said that the message back is full but he name that a male voice said Mike Anderson.
You can easily stop unauthorized charges to your cell through AT&T. Simply call 611 and tell them you want a "Child Block" put on your number, no additional charges can be made to your cell, even thouse you agree with!
I have been receiving daily calls from this number. Today I pressed "1" to speak to someone in order to request that the stop; the person who answered simply hung up. The company calls on my cell phone, interupting me at work. It is extremely distuptive and annoying. The recording says something credit.
