I've gotten numerous calls from this number on August 6, August 8, August 13, and August 21. On the 13th, I had a strange voicemail, just people talking like they didn't know they had called, but I couldn't make out what they were saying. At first, they'd call at 9pm, then they'd call about 8 or so at night. Today it was at 6pm. I haven't answered due to the number of people who call me without meaning to. I've now learned that this number is from Ontario, Canada. Nobody in any of Canada should have my number. I don't even live near Canada. So it's no friend of mine.
I have been receiving calls from this number and i dont do any business with any Canadian Companies I'm very weary of this as the person on the line had a very thick accent that did not sound Canadian.
a lady with an indin accent called saing they where going to give me a $100 gift card , i needed to give her my email address. she called twice. i got up set and told her to put me on her do not call list. is there something i can do ??
I keep getting calls from this number. They don't say anything most of the time. Once they said they had a gift card for me associated with my debit card. I hung up, and canceled my card.
Got the same call 11 pm tonite. Just go to your phone services and add 613 333-3456 to your call block list. Easy to do. Thanks... No more calls for that jerk ***-hole!!!Caller: PLDT
called me twice last night - once after 9pm and then at 1130pm said they had a $100 gift card. Stopped both in mid sentence. Do not give any information to these people
I have been getting calls from this number off and on for some time now. I almost bought the scam the first time. Fortunately they had the last 4 numbers of a Visa Debit Card I had previously canceled because of a phone call from another scammer trying to sell me something. From what I have been able to figure out, they are not in the United States, but in Canada. So even though I am on the national Do Not Call Registry, it does no good to report them as I have done. My husband said why don't you just tell them they have the wrong number when they call and say your name. If they ask for the correct name and information, just give them some bogus information and maybe they will quit calling you. So the next time they called, I answered. A woman with a thick accent asked for me by name. I said "You must have the wrong number." She immediately hung up. Hopefully this is the end of it, but somehow I am not really hopeful.
