The boss answered a call from this alleged number. Some guy with a strong accent trying to 'sell' something about tax collecting. Chances are, the boss didn't quite hear that correctly because he's not known for his listening skills. lol He chewed the caller out and hung up but I'm sure they'll call back. The spammers and scammers always do.
This number called last week and again today. Claims to be a medical supply company. My dad has given them too much time both times, but at least has stopped short of giving his SS #.
received a phone call from this phone number at my job. they said they were a tech support service and before they could pitch their offer i said, "no thank you, we are not interested". i was then called a moron and a [***] and hung up on. what the hell?

If you stay long enough on the line with them, they ask to confirm your address (which they have) and your visa number, which they do not. Don't accept their calls. Went to Do Not Call Registry national list, which I forgot to do with my new number. It should stop soon hopefully.
These people will not stop calling me. Indian accents. They ask for my wife and know the last four digits of our credit card. I have repeatedly told them we are not intersted and asked them to stop calling, remove me from the list or I will report them yet they continue to call. This has been going on for many months now.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
