My parents keep receiving calls from this number looking for my ex-husband who has disappeared with his new wife. My parents keep telling them they don't know where he is, but they keep calling anyway. If we knew where my ex was, we'd tell them, because he owes me $52k and I'd love to see him fry.
This company is called NCO - they are a debt collector and loan company. If you deal with them, GET ALL THE PAPERWORK MAILED TO YOU. They told me that i would be expecting a packet from them and then from the "federal education department" but i should disregard that packet and fill out theirs and mail it back. I'm not stupid. I waited for the other packet and called the federal education loan department. They had told me that it looks like someone filled out the application online and so forth. I can only assume that NCO pays off the balance on the student loan to the government and you would pay twice as much to NCO instead of paying the loan directly. At least that's what my paperwork looked like. STAY AWAY! If you are paying off a collection, its always best to deal with the original company 1st and they will let you know if you HAVE to pay the collections company or you can pay the debt off through them.
OSI ownes University Accounting Services, which is who does BAylors perkins loans. So, no, it was not a scam, it was the welcome call, and to remind you to do your exit interview online
Count me in on the lawsuit!
This is what I do, I always have a whistle with me and when this number calls I say hello and as soon asthey start talking a blow the whistle as loud as I can. It's my own little way of getting these jerks back, hope they have insurnace to cover hearing aides!
this number has been calling my cell phone, I have no idea who they are or how they got my number
Someone called a client of mine asking for me. The caller said she got an application that listed my client's number as my work phone number, but they wouldn't give any information about why they were calling. I could lose the bulk of my income over stuff like this. I have never listed my client's information on any forms that are available to the public. I get most of my work through them and this has put my financial livelihood at serious risk. I'd love to sue them. Whatever they are trying to collect was something not worth paying back. I've paid all debts that gave me what I paid for. The rest can wait till I make more than 50 Grand/year.
I keep receiving calls at work and on my cellular for this number. When I ask what this is in reference to, the person on the phone demands information from me. I refuse to give them my personal information. I feel as though I am being harassed
Rebecc must work for the scam artist
