Cell phone message that I missed a call from 6173564651. No message. Originated from Boston MA. Thank goodness these sites exist that I can look up to see if others have had the same experience before I try to call back. Thanks to you all for sharing your experiences.

I saw this call and the id via my service provider just showed a Boston area phone number 617-356-4651. Just to see what moron was calling with what new scam it was, so I dialed the number. Guess what? I got a recorded message that stated that "the person whose phone number I called "has not set up their voice mailbox". I don't know how the scammers either hook up to inactive phone lines or somehow are able to show an incorrect phone number on the caller ID. I have called scammers back before to get a "this number is disconnected" message. Then again, maybe they record their message to state that they are disconnected so they do not have to take your calls...All you can do is block the number by calling your phone service provider or by using their (your provider) internet site and logging in and blocking that number.

Called but left no message

Said I was recently at there resort and they would give me free 4 days at Orlando and 1 other place in FL and do I have a credit card I could use. Well if it is free why do u need a credit card. I to them no and they said thank you and hung up.

I have been getting NUMEROUS calls for over 2 months from this number 617-356-4651.Never a message,usually just a hang up,& i called back only 1 time last month.nothing but dead air..Don't know what the h... is going on.& will double check my phone bill for unusual charges.....

No wonder I got to pay $ 9 MORE PER MONTH ! IDIOTS VERIZON AND I THOUGHT THAT I COULD TRUST THEM!
