No they do not sell the Do Not call registry to these scammers. Legit companies (read big or medium sized) subscribe to the list to prevent their employees from calling people on the list and incurring fines that increase with each offense. Scammers use robo callers and buy lists from other scammers and some even get the info from AARP membership info
Just received the call on my cell, since it's a Boston number and I live in MA I answered - but all I got was 'Congratulations! you have been selected..' I hung up after that. Ugh. If you have an iPhone, you can go into your calls, click on the number (or the little I) and scroll down to block number. They will not call again.
