Though I'm from Massachusetts, was still wary of an unknown number calling me, and past business hours so I figured it couldn't be legit. Of course, all it took was Googling the number to find out this was a typical free cruise "scam." Well by technicality those things are not scams; they ARE apparently free cruises that just overcharge visitors for restaurants, the harbor, etc. I HATE that I gave Facebook my phone number when I initially signed up years back and only took it off a few years ago; I KNOW they give out users' personal info to third parties!!! I received a call from 617-356-4651 on my cell phone at 9:23 am. I missed the call and worried that it was from my daughter's doctor in the Boston area. Thanks to this website I am going to block the number. Thank you guys!
Does not specifically identify company calling. Clearly ignores Do Not Call Registry. Asks to complete a survey in return for two free tickets for a Bahamas cruise. I chose "9" to decline the survey and be removed from their database.
Well friends, they're still calling--I have them blocked yet they don't give up. My phone rings once before it blocks the call and I can check to see who was bothering me--there they were!!!! Again!!!! This is probably a spoofed number. They're phishing me because I'm in Massachusetts myself....
