So, this random number called me but my phone didn't go off. I tried calling it back but it said the number was disconnected and no longer in use. Help?
Phone rang this morning. Caller ID 617-356-4651. I did not pick up and it did not leave message. I do recognize the number from previous calls regarding electric company.
this number is one of the stubborn ones that still keep trying, in two years I have used phonetray software to reduce my spam/scam calls form several a day to a few a week and sometimes less. Phonetray automatically blocks this call because it's stored in their database but I also have it on my block list (which is unlimited) and they get the phone company message "the number you have reached is not in service". It can play many different messages for different types of calls and different numbers and you can even create your own...I leave this as my standard except for calls with no caller ID instructing them on how to call through...got the program June of 2013 and it has done wonders to reduce this nonsense :)

Since I’ve been receiving calls from this number I blocked my own number and tried calling back. The message state this phone no does not exist. Definitely a scam.

It's a scam. Ally Financial. I too do not have loans. They text me me often. They are persistent This phone # is close to the real Ally phone number but a tad off. TOTAL SCAM. Report to the real Ally.
