Did they ever follow up with you and confirms steps they took? I believe it's coincidental that you stopped getting calls from that number. They simply moved on from your number. Who knows? Maybe they are still call you, but they are using a new fake number.

If you have an android, use 'Call Blocker' app. Very convenient.

I've blocked several numbers from the girl who's giving me my last chance to lower my interest rates. But the calls still come in daily. I think they have dozens of numbers they are calling from.

Many calls from this number. Ignored them.

Keep getting calls from this number, both to my landline and cell. They never leave any message. Not sure how they got the cell, think have both on Do Not Call registry, so maybe they've hacked into registry? Call may not actually be from the number on the Caller ID though. Somehow they can fudge what appears on the Caller ID I think, else how come I often get calls with my name and number appearing on my Caller ID?

I got a call from this number yesterday. When I picked up, they hung up. When I called the number back, the phone message said the person had not set up a voice mail yet. Since it was in 617 area code, I thought it may have been someone I knew. But according to looking up this number, the comments are that this is just an UNWANTED phone # or call for most people who get it.

picked up cause I was expecting a call from Massachusetts. They said "congratulations you have won a cruise to the Bahamas" didn't wait to hear more- I just hung up.
