Apparently the calling form this number has changed! Today it was Jack Taylor from the Legal Dept of the US Treasury (this call came from Cambridge, MA). Jack wanted me to call another number in reference to 'something' (I couldn't understand him). I said I won't be calling another number, send it to me in writing and I will be glad to take care of it. He said he couldn't do that. I repeated send it in writing and then hung up.Ten seconds later my phone rang again, but this time from California. Same guy, ordering me not to hang up! Gave me the same speech. When I couldn't understand him I said send it to me in writing and hung up. Four more calls that I did not answer. The last one he left a voicemail telling me if I didn't call the number he left that I could just have a nice life because the law people of my state would soon be knocking on my door.Wow... I'm shaking in my boots.

I didn't know this number so I didn't answer. The left a garbled voicemail that was mostly mouth-breathing. I added them to my reject list.

I got several calls from two phone numbers 617- 714- 0762 and 502-242-1331. For several days. I did not answer. They did leave a message twice stating “If I want to avail this loan please call your loan officer at 502-242-1331 or go online to www.comwealthbank.com. I did not go on the web page nor did I call the number back. The next day I got a call again from the 617-714-0762 number which left a voice mail stating they were calling from the IRS and federal charges have been filed against me. I must immediately contact them regarding these charges please call back immediate to 202-684-2449. I called the number a few hours later and someone answered stating "this is Sandra” and then I hung up.The 202-684-2449 number no longer works today. THIS IS A SCAM AND THYE ARE CLAIMING TO BE THE IRS AND USING FEDERAL CHARGES AS A WAY TO TRY TO SCARE PEOPLE TO CALL THEM BACK. I READ THEY TOLD ONE LADY SOMETHING WITH THE WORD OFFICER AND THEN IT CUT OFF.Apparently THAT DID NOT WORK SO THEY MOVED ON TO THE CLAIMING THEY ARE THE IRS/FEDERAL GOVERMENT.

Do not even know the person. Instead of being professional and saying they will take my number off the system... They hang up on me.TALK ABOUT SOME STUPID SCAMMERS.

Posing as Microsoft. Claiming that computer is having issues. Can't answer questions about my name, ipaddress, name of my computer or any other information. He finally swore at me (granted after I swore at him) and hung up.
