After I hung up, I used google to look up the number and have been reading all the scams! Funny thing while reading, I get a call from #804, that's all.. no other numbers! This one went to voicemail, and of course no message left! Pesty callers!

This number just called me. Because my work calls are sent to my cell, I answered. Imagine, tech support from Microsoft cared enough to call me and let me know that, if I would turn on my computer, they could help save me from the malicious program I've downloaded. Bless their little hearts.I asked him which computer was affected because we have several. He stumbled just a bit but then asked how many computers I have. I told him that if he could indeed see that I had downloaded a malicious program, he should be able to tell me the identity of the computer that did so. He said he couldn't see the computer, and before he could get another word out, I said, "Exactly, which is why I'm ending this call and adding this number to my block list. Bye."

You're the first person I've seen other than me reporting this phone number & a UPS related scam. Two callers claiming to be from UPS. First caller had blocked ID. Second showed this #. First caller said "I have a check for you would want." The way he said it sounded like "the check" "kinda fell off the back of a truck". I said "No, you don't!" How would a driver or dispatch center know the contents of a package? He said "We've got bad reception." & hung up. Second caller from above number said he was "Kevin Peterson" was from UPS & wanted to know if I were available. When I asked for the tracking #, he hung up. Reported to UPS. UPS said not any of their #'s. Call area code is over 1,000 miles away from me. Now THAT'S a dedicated driver! Ha!

The caller hung up the phone as soon as I answered.

got a call from a guy with an African or jamacian accent saying he was with the "Government grant" office and I had won $9,800.00. I wasn't aware you can "win" a government grant so I asked him where he was calling me from, and he replied from the "government grant" office. I said "no, what city and state?". He then replied "Washington D.C.. I asked again "and what state is that in?". It took him about three seconds to think about it and then he got mad i assume when he couldn't figure out what state he was from and simply said "f@#k you", and hung up. Typical Obama administration, I tell you. the only part of this that I'm really upset about is that he gave up so quickly and didn't let me work him into a full fit of rage like I normally would have after 10-15 minutes of screwing with the scammers mind.

This number called my mom's house. Luckily I was there. My mom has dementia and gave the phone to me because she did not understand what they were wanting.The girl on the phone, Chelsea, asked if I wanted an upgraded bathroom.I told her I was not interested and to "remove this number from you list." Her response, "I will keep calling you."She hung up on me. I tried to call back and it says the number is not in service.

I received the same call today. I was very worried and confused.

They continually call, often from different numbers. Yesterday they told me it was about my computer in a deep Indian voice. Obviously I hung up and said I was not interested and to take me off their list. They then called again today. my understanding is that this is a scam to obtain private information such as bank account info.

Caller introduced himself as someone from Microsoft Security Protection and asked if I was aware that my computer was not being updated automatically. I asked where he got my number and he repeated that he is with Microsoft Security Protection and asked if I was aware that my computer was not being updated automatically. He asked if it was a good time to talk and I said it was not and that I was at work. I asked if he could send me an email with his contact info and he hung up. I tried calling the number and got an automated message saying the number wasn't in service.
