I received a call from 617-714-0762 stating they were from The Department of Treasury! I know better. The call states they are located in Cambridge, MA. Beware folks!

THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE HUNDRED OF SCAM PHONE NUMBERS FROM CROOKS- I DO NOT CALL THEM SCAMMERS WHO TELL YOU WON A MILLIONS OF DOLLARS - NEED TO FIX YOU COMPUTOR-WILL BE ARRESTED BECAUSE YOU HAVE TAX BILLS ETC THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PAID .. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION AND MONEY. THE CALLER ID IS PHONEY ALONG WITH THE NUMBER. PROTECT YOUR SELF BY NOT RESPONDING TO THESE CROOKS. THEY HAVE NO LEGAL POWERS IN ANY STATE TO DO ANYTHING TO YOU. . IN FACT MOST OF THESE CROOKS ARE NOT LOCATED IN THE US.

Called me and said they had unfortunate news about my Bank of America Account, I don't have a B of A Account.

Received a call from this number stating he was from US Police Department and said I need to surrender myself or call him back (at a different number) to rectify the situation. If I don't call back they will take legal actions against me. I could hear many voices in background, like a call center. The man who left message had a very strong accent. I called the number back that came in on my phone and recording says its disconnected.
