Automated message says it's a Survey company and something about a free cruise for two ppl to the Bahamas. (SCAM). I was curious so I wait for the message to finish, then It asked me to say yes to begin a survey. I remained silent and it said that it will remove me from the survey list. Glad I check this website, very suspicious.
Called, did not leave message. Strange that someone in the thread mentioned Russia because earlier today I got a call from +7(095)589-11, and the caller ID said "Russia". Since I don't know anyone there, definitely blocking these!
I received a call from 617-714-0978 said from Cambridge Massachusetts on my cell phone. Could hardly understand them because of the accent. They said it was about my computer and my windows product. I hung up on them.
Got a call early in the morning, some guy with a thick foreign accent said hello... I asked him what he is selling, then he said "I selling nothing, and you can't buy nothing because you are beggar [***]", then he hung up. Nice way to start my day.
These people have called me over 30 times today and each time with a different phone number. I have blocked the phone numbers multiple times have told them to stop contacting me and yet another phone number pops up it's getting ridiculous. Scammers I told him that I was contacting the FCC STOP CALLINGWhat they're telling me is I qualify for a US government grant. There are several more numbers they have USED!!it's ridiculous
Just got a call from 617-714-0978 but did not answer it. I called the number back and got a recording saying the number is no longer in service so clearly a scam!! Do not answer as it is more than likely a "credit card service" trying to get you to sign up by conning you into believing that they can get you reduced interest rates on your current credit cards, which is a big, fat lie! JUST SAY NO!! or better yet, don't answer unfamiliar phone numbers.
Received a call but didn't answer. Location showed Cambridge, Mass. What is concerning to me is that this happened not long after I returned from a vacation to Boston. Coincidence? I think not.
