November, 2016 I have been getting 5-6 calls a day from this number. Finally blocked it today. Disappointed this has been going on for so long, based on the dates of this thread.
I received a call from this number. I paid my past due Verizon bill and they magically stopped!!
This is a scam. I also got the text telling me to call. If you reread your texts and have any real texts from Verizon, look at the difference between the two. I have never had Verizon wireless insert a smily face, nor have I ever been instructed to go to vzw.com. that's not even verizons web site. So I called Verizon, was I late on my bill, yes, I already had payment arrangements made for payment to come out that day, do they contact you for that, no, not unless you dont make your agreed payment. So, called Verizon, gave them the number from the text message, and she confirmed that was NOT a Verizon line. When in doubt always call the main number you KNOW to be true to confirm anything.
Well i think its a scam cause i live in maine and it called me. im in bangor 200 miles away from boston
Simply ignore the call and if it is really Verizon, they will definitely send you a letter in the mail.Don't believe those who say this is legitimate.
Do not make a payment! This is a scam. you think you're paying Verizon, but you're not!Do not call me!!
