The same thing happens to me every week since the death of my husband from this and other callers. There should be a special law to prosecute these people that harass the families of the deceased.

I had this call several time but did not take the call, because I don't now someone there.

When they call me, the caller ID reads "CHULA VISTA, CA". After three rings, I pick up to receive dead air for 30 seconds, then a fast busy signal. If I call them back, you get a female voicemail message "the number you have dialed is no longer in service...". REALLY?!? Then how did they just call me from that number? The number you need to call to put a block in these idiots is 888-444-1111.

Called, no message on the answering machine

Call from 619-863-4646, I picked phone, then hung-up. From medical related scam. Hoping they quit calling us.

Medicare- about a wheelchair? I don't have a wheel chair!!! I am not on Medicare!! How can I stop these calls.

Caller asked for my wife by name. When I offered to take a message, said to tell her the case manager for Medicaid called, then hung up in a hurry. No Medicaid clients here.

I actually got one of these idiots to talk to me for 10 minutes after I told him I was recording the conversation. He told me he was calling from USA Health Network and that Social Security had given him my number because my electric wheelchair was broken. I told him that I do not have an electric wheelchair and that a crime is taking place as we speak. I also told him that it is illegal for Social Security to release personal information to a third party without the patients permission. He STILL tried convincing me that I had a broken electric wheelchair. I also told him I'm on the National Do Not Call List, too. He even kept going when I told him I get my medical care from the VA and I was recording this conversation. Steps to take as the call closes. 1) Yell as loud as you can using rude language to blow out the person's ear drum. 2) Immediately enter *57 into your phone so that your phone/cell/cable/company will keep track of the contract information for a year. 3) Keep a log of the call 4) Go to www.ic3.gov and file a complaint with the federal government.

The only good the DNCL does is in the hands of people who actually abide by it. Criminals don't and what's worse, they selll the list on to their fellow criminals.
