Called my home phone; I answered the phone; nobody talks at the other end. My home phone is on the 'Do Not Call List.'

First of all, i personally quit calling people when im asked to in a polite manner, but please understand that we are not the only people calling you for that type of survey, i understand that they are also calling centers from all around the world, and they also have to be asked to please take you off the calling list, and maybe if you are lucky, they will do it, another thing, we are not hackers as some crazy said, the way this works is that the owner of my calling center, buys lists of numbers that only have adresses and first/last name, not something amazing -.-, so dont act like we are pointing a gun at you and please be nice to the calls, and ask politely to be taken off, i know my co workers and if you are rude they are going to call even more

Also, to take us off the call list wont work, and there is a law hole that wont make us stop calling, as far as i know, the best you can hope is to quit having a telephone and stick to strictly cellphone

I think that when you are recieving cellphone calls its because the elder person told us that we could contact you to finish the order of whatever the purpose of the call was, not something to blame completely on us, and to the other guy, please people look for a free way to make those calls stop, im sure there is one way but youll have to find out yourselves (btw im saying this much because i hate to have a job where i need to bother people but its the only way i can pay for my nursing career)

Get a job flipping burgers or cleaning toilets - anything is better than harassing people who do NOT want the phone calls.You can make any lame excuse you want but you deserve whatever verbal abuse comes your way from these unwelcome calls.

You cant compare the payment of those jobs to the one i have obviously

you can't compare how much bank robbery pays compared to any of these jobs - is THAT a justification for becoming a bank robber???

Is calling comparable to killing or robing?

This is just a meanwhile job, nobody does calls for a living

Just because you don't intend to scam people all your life still doesn't justify the behavior. Your creative rationalizations do not change the fact that you break the law and call people who are on the DNC list and don't want the calls.
