They call, I tell them I'll take a message, they call again EVERY 2 HOURS I told them I've already taken a message from them 2 times!

They called me at 7:30PM today and I am in good standing on my AMEX account. For example, my monthly payment is $20 and I always pay $200. My account is nearly paid off and has never been past-due, so there is no call for AMEX billing or collections to contact me. Total sham. I am reporting to the link the guy provided above.

Scam! Immediately asked for my social security number

Keep receiving calls from 16234926031 and they claim that they are from American Express it is not a telemarketing call. They want me to call them back and have my account number handy. I do not have an Amex card.

They called me too, but now that I know what's going on after reading your postings, I am going to rip them a new one!!! Oh, and about the "elephant washer" comment; how extremely racist and irresistibly comical. lol

Got a call from this number 623-492-6031 a recording stated that the call was in regards to my amex acct. message said to return the call to 888-315-0988.I will follow up with Amex 800 number on the back of my card.

Of course it is legit... Hey everyone send me your personal info & account numbers and I will straighten it out for you.... WTH would anyone post on here if it was legit? jeeesus... are you people stoopid? Of course it is a scam...

I don't even have an American Express Card and I've been getting calls. SCAM!

I'm miffed by this! I in fact called a real AmEx number to get the low down because of these posts. People are posting incorrect info regarding these numbers and another one ( 336-393-7010 ) But I don't get the part where people are saying they don't even have a card and getting called by one of the below numbers??The number, is in fact for AmEx, probably an outsourced number, but it's when your late, or behind, just as our payment had not been processed by the stupid bank over the weekend.Anyway... call the 800 number on your card to be safe, but just know - these number are NOT some kind of scam.I confirmed all these numbers with a REAL AmEx representative. 602-537-9012 and 623-492-603 ARE part of AmEx - BOTH are in Arizona. (as well as the first number mentioned)

this #602-537-9012 or 623-492-6031 keeps calling and hanging up or will just not say anything it's very annoying and thanks for letting us know about them asking for ss# cause thats not good !!!
