dont even have an amex card

I keep getting calls from this number on caller I D for my cell. When the number showed up on my work caller ID I thought hmm this must be someone who knows me. I do have an AMEX card (A work AMEX) so I'm glad I checked here first. So far they've not left messages and I only tried to call back once and got no answer no message.

I don't either and they are calling me too. I called them back and they confirmed I do not have an AMEX card, but said they don't know how to fix the problem???!

These people call my cel phone every day. I do not pick up and they do not leave a message. I wish I could figure out a way to block these calls. BTW I have also been getting similar calls on my home phone from 602-246-2542 which is also listed on this site.

Received multiple calls from "American Express" on my business line asking for a name that is unrelated to us. I have told them twice to quit calling. Very frustrating as there is no possibility that I or my organization has relationship with American Express.

Just got one of these calls - have an AmEx through BofA, but that's all up-to-date, and there's nothing wrong. Going to report to NY Fraud Protection.I don't know why these people don't leave a message.

I didn't answer the call. I usually don't answer phone calls from people I don't know, and we're on the Do Not Call registry. The oddest thing was that instead of a name, there was another phone number listed on Caller ID.

Not a collection agency, just general account management. They called about a suspicious charge.
