call comes in several times a day so i called from my office line to see what it is. it is a cleaning company that has a hard time taking no for an answer. i see missed calls from the daily and wish they would stop after i gave them a firm 'no".

If you don't recognize the caller or #, just don't answer. They call so often, I never answer and they never leave a message. Another scam artist with no purpose in life, only to annoy you and waist time. Get a real job.
they call me several times a week, and I actually saved it in my phone as "Scam" so I knew it was the same number. finally picked up the call, got the shpiel about free carpet cleaning, I said stop calling me and she rudely said "this is the first time we've called you." How dumb do they think we are?
Learn to block, on your phone, annoying, unwanted callers numbers. They'll keep calling you otherwise. Blocking really helps. There's a lot of scumbags out there waiting to steal your money.
Called me just now, I think it said something about bright and shiny. I said "who is this?" and the woman's voice continued "that's great!" (Yeah... Don't answer my question or anything!) Then came "can you hear me?" I swiftly hung up the phone because I remember hearing about scam calls where they ask that question and once you say "yes" they somehow are able to charge you a bunch. The number called back immediately, I rejected the call and they left a voicemail which said absolutely nothing. And this is why I usually don't answer my phone!

Claims to be from a roofing team. Somehow knows real name and city. I keep getting texts like this from different numbers, they stop responding when I ask how they have my number.
