Yes!!! I agree!!! Rose International may be a real company but the scammers are using that company as a cover up. A guy name Marvin called me supposively from their but when I called them they had no knowledge of anyone by that name. They also told me that we would NEVER ask for SSN over the phone!!! So the scammers that are posting on here...your game is up!! It makes me mad that people try to take advantage of job hunters!! But there a scums everywhere!!!!
Received a call from this number from a person who stated he was a recruiter with Rose International. He further stated that he got my resume off of Monster and I would be a good fit for the position he was trying to fill. He then asked for my DOB, SS number, for tracking purposes. I wouldn't give this information out over the the phone. He became insistent. I finally hung up.
The reason Rose offices all have the same area code from ST. Louis is that the company is HQ'd in St. Louis and Rose has installed a global VOIP phone system connecting all U.S. offices and the India office via the same PBX. Makes it easier for them to share information across their many offices.
Hey that's my recruiter too, he's hard to understand, but it really is a good number. I applied to Rose for a job in Michigan. It just happens to be where the recruiter is. Now a days, recruiters could be anywhere. I've worked with them for jobs in MIchigan from LA (Kelly Engineering), Boston (Kelly Accounting), NC (Pet Supply Plus), Rose in Missouri. I actually had two different agencies (one in Southfield MI, one out on the East Coast) send in a resume to the same company. Would you believe I had a recruiter in Calgary, Alberta for a job in Southfield... The companies find multiple recruiters for their jobs to get a better selection of people. Like one said, I don't have to be where the job is, just be able to talk by phone.I've had a few ask for my SSN over the last 14 months, most just ask for your last 4 digits. Normally it's through emails, and usually it's in their applications for them to represent you.
Hi all! As per Starleigh Pole above. I got a call today from Nicole Walker on the same job at $16 per hour. Boy I sure could use the money, but after reading all the posts here, now I am not sure. And like all of you I hesitate to give anyone my SS# even in writing and in person. There is so much identity theft to worry about, among other things....such a crazy world. I have yet to get back to her, as I just read the return e-mail moments ago. I sent my resume as she found it on Careerbuilder. I did post it out there and at least I got a phone call which is more than I can say about most jobs I've applied to. I applied for over 23 just last week! Any way, I am going to respond to them via e-mail of my interest while checking the address they provided. We'll see, but I am always leary of recruiting companies out of the KC area. If I can't see the whites of their eyes how do I know I can trust them??? :)
Rose International Staffing is not a scam. I've had a very good experience working with them. All calls have been in response to jobs I have applied for online. They do need to pre-interview background search so you will have to give them your social and date of birth. I suggest doing so online so you have a record of supplying the info if ever needed. It's just a shame that Bank of America and other companies that use their temp service don't post that on their website (that Rose Int. is an approved agency).
Rose Agency = Bogus - all their offices throughout the US have the same phone number. Called me today with a job offer, checked them out on line and they are a scam for sure
So how'd you get your paycheck? by mail? And did you get an ATM? Let me know what how their process goes.As for me, they're asking me to submit an agency consent form. They only need my signature, phone/e-mail.
