Called again yesterday. I answered without checking caller ID because of the long distance ringtone - holiday and we were receiving calls from family.No answer to my many hellosI'm in Montreal

I've had this call several times before. The day will soon come when our phones will be ringing incessantly with these kind of calls. Unless our lawmakers do something about it.

I did send an email to our local MP. He actually lives on our street. I saw that he read my email but he did not respond. Keep bugging them. If this is a federal issue and if we consider this an invasion of our privacy...shouldn't the MPs be doing their thing. And, if they are working for us, shouldn't they let us know that they're working on it?How about some communications from our government. Say something do something.

Many silent and unidentified calls.

Same thing just now - 4:25PM Sunday. Not the first time. Call was an ad for a credit counselling service, but no name, and they said the number so fast, you can't write it down. The number is not repeated.Killing these people should not be a crime.

I don't want recieve any call from this number.

They called me in montreal but left nothing on the machine.

A word to the wise *67 does not alway block calls if these guys have the right equipment, leave them alone and don't call back or they may get your phone number!!If you wish to stop this problem call your local member of parliament or senator and put in an official written complaint... Same to either the CRTC or FCC or both.You might also call Phone Busters, in Canada this is the provincial police and RCMP.Keep complaining and maybe someone will listen...I agree with some people's comments that the phone companies don't care until it hurts there bottom line "Profit".
