Asked to speak to the owner regarding a "fiduciary matter". Claimed he was calling from "Synergy" a "financial firm".I gave him a few choice words and hung up.
I TOLD THESE PEOPLE TO STOP CALLING ME... THEY SAID NO.. THEY CONTINUED TO SAY "WE WANT TO SAVE YOU MONEY." I SAID REMOVE ME FROM YOUR CALLING LIST... THEY SAID NOT UNTIL YOU LISTEN TO US..THEY NEED TO STOP
This number has called me twice this morning, and when I answered with my work greeting, I got nothing from the other side... The one thing that disturbed me about this is that the caller ID said that it was a wireless customer, so I wouldn't have expected it to be a spam call. Sad that there's been so much hooplah about the "do not call" lists, and they simply don't work as promised.
Asked for the owner and when I did not specify if I was the owner or not, but said I could answer their question they would not proceed further unless I confirmed that I was an owner. When I said I wasn't interested the called replied, "You're a [***]."
...called and asked to speak to business owner (by name). I asked who's calling. Daniel from "Synergy." I told him the owner wasn't available, but I could help him. He rudely replied "wonderful!" and hung up on me.Caller ID showed "Wireless number" 646-499-4472
Receive calls like this all the time on my business line which is forwarded to my cell so that I don't have to be in one place. Cell phones save #'s and this one, like many others is saved. DNA, Do Not Answer. When my phone rings, I look at the screen, see DNA, hit silence. No muss no fuss. If they never get the idea it is their time that is wasted. How do I originally know which calls are bad? I don't answer any number that is not local or that I don't recognize. If they leave a message I take care of it. If not I Google the number for programs like this one. If the number appears with all the negative comments, such as this number, I mark it DNA. Sometimes a number will sneak through or get answered by accident, only once. Good luck, hope this helps. Works for me.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Got my name wrong, no where near close to the person they're trying to scam/contact. Call came from North Texas, left no company name, nothing. Shady asf, 888 area code is commonly used by scammers so this may not be legit.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.

Call identification states Rocket Mortgage. Never call back a call without checking number first. Never take the name on caller ID to be the true caller.
