Then why is it saying "not registered on service" when I try to check my voice mail?

I have had this phone with v/M for some time. This is the first time I have not been able to retrieve my messages. Any other suggestions?

This number is from a debt collector.unwanted and unsolicited.

It's Virgin trying to get you to set up your voice mail. Once you do, it will stop.Stupidly (which is how Virgin works) they give you the LD number in Ontario only - costs $$$$$ if you're elsewhere.Instead, setup voicemail from another phone or yours by dialing your own mobile phone number.1. When you hear your own message hit the # key.2. Type in your password and follow the prompts - mainly just say your name.You can use Skype if you want to call the Ontario number.If Virgin spent less time BSing you with how cute and 'friendly' they are and put more effort into good customer service they'd be better.

i keep getting messages on my cell phone i do not want them to call again im on the no call list

I called Virgin Mobile to ask if the number belonged to them and they informed me it did not. This number is now blocked on my phone.

I also had the issue...all I had to do is call virgin...they advised me to stay on the line while they call and left a message. then to check their message, delete it and restart the phone. That took care of the problem.

I do not want the identoty of this number trying to reach me or anybody I associate via any sort of means.

I do not wish to receive calls or notes for voice messages from this number. It is SPAM or hacker

Voicemail, pre-recorded (woman's voice with British accent), without calling. Probably debt collection (I have been getting a lot from EOS, though I have no reason to believe that I might owe anyone anything and also have a name so rare in this city that it cannot be mistaken for someone else's). Do not know how these goons got my number, but have blocked every one of theirs.
