It won't stop unless you forget the agreement you had with Virgin and agree to be tracked by Bell. And they will keep on charging you for every time that message appears (.30 or .35 cent depending at which time you joined in). Your only option is to take them in court and sue the hell out of them, otherwise they will keep on doing it.
Hi David:See our reply to "Agnes" below. The number is the access to Virgin's voice mail. Also, no matter how many times you access your voice mail, the time is not deducted from your monthly total or against the time purchased if you have a prepaid account.
647-383-2333 is the Virgin Voicemail number which is dialed when you check your voicemail. It costs the same as any other outgoing called.
I've had several calls from 647-383-233, but they don't show up on incoming calls, missed calls, or messages, doesn't show who the call is from, and it always says URGENT. I have a new Virgin mobile phone. So far I've just ignored the messages. It's a nuisance. Will talk to the Virgin store where I bought the phone.
I don't know WHY I am being asked to call this phone number for a Voicemail on my Virgin Mobile phone. Is Virgin Mobile aware of this scum? They should do something about it quickly!
It is Toronto. When I first try to locate the who and where, I lend up finding it was "unallocated" and then it became Virgin voice mailbox. Bell was trying to cover its tracks so you would blame Virgin and move your services to them.
You are wrong on both count, you are charged for receiving the call and calling them, they is no free stuff with Bell.
They are (Bell) trying to take away all that was the attraction for you to join Virgin: Unspent minutes carried over, free display of telephone call made and received, Free voice mailbox, Free redirection of phone calls with YOUR control over all of it. You agree to their modifications of your cellphone and you are dead...loosing everything
Bell turned it on for you and you got charged for it. They are trying to get YOUR business by making Virgin look guilty. Did you know that Bell owns Virgin and that they don't like their ways of doing business, like: more free features, reasonablerates for by the month service, where Bell charges you for every thing, no free goodies with them. Go to the Small Claims Court and ask for 20,000$ for harassments, nuisance, unwanted modifications to your Cell Phone, missed calls, cause they are trying to bypass the regulations set by the C.R.T.C. They (Bell) have to respect the contract or agreement you have with Virgin. Good luck, your case is rock solid...
