Hi I'm getting a call probably once a day from this number 6478988827 .. I don't answer it but leave it go straight to my answering machine. I live in Newfoundland! How do they find our numbers ? It's ANNOYING!!

I've also done what Mike did above (Dec 30) but don't always have the time - it is fun though. I've also just started yelling into the phone non stop, not listening to what they are saying, just continuous loud yelling of what ever comes to mind. They try to interject and say what they've been told to say but can't get a word in at all. They eventually hang up within a minute or two. I feel a lot better too after releasing all that frustration.

Pauline, the Panasonic cordless phones are great for blocking these calls. But get the one that can block a lot of calls, because these scammers will use different #'s. I just purchased these phones a couple of weeks ago and have 6 blocked so far. Mine only blocks up to 60 calls, so if I were ever to purchase them again, I would get the one's that block more calls. I research the # through Google first to see where the call is coming from. Love this site for checking these calls out. I never answer the calls.

Well a new (spoofed) number. Let me be the first. Call about lowering my interest rate, but I must hurry. Hahahahaha Just moved to call block.

Received two phone calls from 647-898-8827. I AM on the do not call list but mostly I understand from online sources this phone number is a credit card scam --- this needs to be checked out.

Just had this number call. Didn't answer and they hung up without leaving a message. Got caught answering this bunch before! They call way too frequently!

Received offer to lower credit card interest to LESS THAN 5% FOR LIFE Bells should go off , WHO OFFERS THIS thats right NOONE !!!!!!!! they ask for expire date and sixteen #s without even verrifyng if you are the ard holder. How stupid is that. PEOPLE be AWARE. if in doubt call back your self .

Got this same call today..from 1-647-898-8827.so I pressed #2 to stop the calls..says can't be done and to press 1 to speak to a agent. So I pressed 1, got a live person...told him to take my number off their list and to stop calling, he said that can't be done and hung up on me.

How can we get rid off those pests, They phone every other week for a whole year now,First I asked them nicely to remove me from their list, But of no help.Now I just tell them to get stuffed, but in a stronger wording.I belief they should be removed from having a phone line or charged for making unwanted phone calls.
