Received call from this number and tried to callback and call not answered.

No message left. Tiresome beyond aggravation these annoyance calls. But block 'emand stuff them. But I like the idea of --no name --no answer.This I think I will try out. But I have beenseverely scammed by another on the internet. Documented it in book form. They prefer, usually to do there dirty deeds in quiet. This forum is a great idea --it does pay to advertise and lower theamount of financial vermin around.647-898-8827

Thanks for the postings. This number called my home phone for a couple of times and left long long silent messages to try to fill out my voice mail possibly. Something needs to be done to stop these morons from victimizing people.

Got another call from 6478988827 and they are the usual scammers with east indian accents using names like Kevin, Frant, Melissa etc LOL like as if that is their real legal name Anyways they will call you over and over with scams. Sometimes it is not the credit card interest rate scam but that of a claim they represent microsoft and detected computer virus activity on your computer.It usually tells you press one if interested in lowering your ccard interest rates That is when it connects you to one of the pathetic thieving, lying losers on the other end. I suggest if you get the calls, do not block it, take the call, hit 1, then when they come on, say nice things, treat them like royalty, chat them up, make the call last, annoy them that way, then a list of 3 to 5 card you claim to own, fake limits and fake balances and fake info, then say.. can you hold a moment? someone is at my door.. then sit there for 2min then say sorry but you are back.. ask about the weather, ask if their mom is doing ok after the stroke, ask if the dog's broken leg is healing ok. They will get mad and stop calling you if everyone wise to them is doing this. I do it regularly. One time I told them I was being very naughty while talking to them and they got creeped out and asked what I meant. I said I was eating dessert before dinner and being so naughty for doing so. If you just block them they will keep doing to new victims. If enough people waste their time, insult them, annoy them, irritate them, they will give up eventually.

Just blocked this number thanks to the postings here. They called and disconnected before the answering machine came on.

It's eerily similar to this one 647-430-8728... one of those you win a trip can I have your credit card number. Scammers. Just blocked this one and never hear from them again.

YES I GOT THIS CALL. TRYING TO LOWER MY CREDIT CARD INTEREST.I KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. BUT PISS ME OFF JUST TO KNOW THEY ARE TRYING TO SCAM ME. SOMEBODY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING WHERE IS THE POLICE HERE.

I usually try to get a live person on the line and when I do, I talk in a very low voice so that they have to press their ear very close to the receiver and then I pick up my whistle that I keep next to my phone and blow it as hard as I can. Now I have the satisfaction of knowing I have probably done some irreparable damage to one of their eardrums. Hey.....they asked for it!
