A peice of advice. Pressing numbers, when asked to, validates that they have reached a working line, and will most prompt more calls to you. Either from the same scammers, or other scammers. ;)

Merry Christmas from Nova Scotia.It is boxing day, it is 3 45pm and some a hole...........YES I said it.........A HOLE decided to go to work???? today and annoy residents.WHERE the hell is our governement? Our police??? anyone with power? to stop these insects........

I got a call this afternoon with no message. Just rang and hang up. Good I checked to find out that these are scammers!!1

Happy Boxing Day to you from Wisconsin! It's a shame that these 'mostly' U.S. based card service scammers had to annoy our northern neighbors on their holiday--they took yesterday off down here, from their 'work' of attempting to cheat decent people. They use all spoofed numbers, thus, it is difficult, if not impossible, to find their locations and prosecute them. Reporting the offending numbers 'might' be of some value, and blocking their calls can be a stopgap tactic,but I believe spreading the word to people who are not aware of the scam, before they are victimized, could have the best results--fewer victims--and less profits to these lowlifes, should result in fewer of their annoying calls to all of us. I am so tired of getting these types of calls, I pay good money for my telephone service. I feel that our providers, at this point should do more to protect us from being bothered in the comfort of our own home. I get at least one call per day. I have heard when you get a no name phone call, pick up push the pound key, apparently it messes us their phones. Do not know if it actually works.

Sadly they do find people to give them their credit card info. I figure they prey on people who have busy lives, a lot o their mind etc. I notice they choose times like Friday or Saturday evening when people might be relaxing and having a few drinks and not thinking clearly. They called my house on Boxing day which in my area is a big party day. I assumed this was because they hoped to Catch people unawares. B*stards!
