I got the same thing today. I didn't answer it. My friend sent me a newspaper ad that talked about these organizations that are posing as collection agencies. They are buying past due accounts from collection agencies then they start contacting you and won't let you alone. I am sick and 100% disabled all I get is disability, so whoever they are they cannot sue me. I don't know how they got my phone number, but they are going against my constitutional rights and invading my privacy since I did not give them my phone number.Kathy
I have bellsouth phone company, it has been bought out by AT%T. I always pay my bill, so I don't know why they are calling me. They better just leave me alone, I am sick and disabled and I will report them. Kathy
I receive calls daily at my office phone from this number but I have never called them back.
Franklin Collection Services back in business of harrassing consumers. I just received a nasty message that I could not understand, first time I everreceived a call from these people. I think they said if this matter is notresolved they will take the next step. This site is very helpfull. My thing is contact me by mail so I can see what they are talking about. Thank you for the information as I did not know who this number belongs to.
Recieved a threatening call from 1-662-2218 to my cell phone. Said it "is in my best interest to call them back at another 866 number. I did not respond and hung up.

Called and asked me to return call about a musical instrument that must be returned immediately. Got my name wrong as well. Scammers.

Sent an email trying to encourage people to call Bank of America at this number. As phishing attempt go, this one was better than most. I can smell these things a mile away.
