Number 701-461-0010 is a credit card scam. Caller from North Dakota says they are calling to discuss credit card fraud. I hung up. Called number back and got a recording saying that "cardmember services number was disconnected." Really?
This is actually a legit call from US Bank's corporate card fraud department. I called the number on the back of my corporate card, and they confirmed that they did indeed try to call.
The number 701-461-0010 is a non call back number for Card Member Services. This particular number is for US Bank. If you have filed a complaint and/or disputed a charge on one of you US Bank issued cards, Card Member Services uses this number for their call-out and will leave you a 1-800 number to respond. One of US Bank large customers is Kroger Rewards.
This is a scam. I called the number on the back of my card and they said it is absolutely a scam and that there was nothing wrong with my account.
I called us bank and they said this is a scam. Only call the number on the back of your card.
This is a complete SCAM! Somebody called ME and left a message pretending to be my bank. Left a toll free number that when dialed is answered with a voice message for SharePoint Mortgage Services asking you to leave your name, phone number, ssn, and account number and they will get back to you in 24 - 48 hours (probably how long it takes to steal your ID and get a credit card in your name). Anybody that leaves their ssn and account information on a voice message is just asking for it!
Not A Scam, it was a fraud alert call from US Bank. I didn't pick up. They left a callback number and the last few digits of my card number. I called the number on the voicemail. I was suspicious when they (the computer) asked for a billing zip code before getting me to a live person and I hung up. I checked my account online and found unauthorized charges. I called them back (number from voice mail) and a customer service person worked through getting a new card.
This is a bank that called to ask if a member of my family applied for a credit card, and the answer is no. Thankful that they called to ask and check. There is so much identity theft today. Very sad! No harm to call back and check.
