just got a missed call from thuis number and was curious where it was from. guess it's a good thing i didn't answer.
Male computer voice said that there was a fraud alert and that my pre-paid mastercard had been locked. Then it said "for more information, press 2." I pressed two and there was a female computer voice that said "to inquire about this card, press 1. Hung up and called my bank and they did not show any records of any "hold" or "lock" on my card. Called the number back and got a recording saying all circuits are busy now, after i just made a call, Dont give any info scam, fraud, identity theft, etc...
got this call yesterday 3X when i try calling the number back it says all circuits are busy.
came in on my business cell. didn't answer. no message left. thanks for the info that my "no answer" was right choice!
When I looked at my phone this afternoon, it said I had a missed call from this number (no voicemail). I'm in Prince Edward Island, Canada so looks as though they have made their way here as well.
Received call from this # a few minutes ago, didn't recognize it and did not answer. Checked here and glad I did.
same thing with this number. we all got calls on our individual phones at work as well. DO NOT give out your info. THIS IS A SCAM!
