The recording says her name is Rachel and there is nothing wrong with my credit card and then goes on to offer paying it off at a lower interest rate. You are given the option to speak with someone. So I will press the 1 key. When I talk to them I have asked them to stop. They just hang up on you. One other time I was very nasty and made up a fake name and phone number and called her a [***].

I got a call from this number and it said that due to fraud my mastercard had been locked. To press one to unlock it. If you press one, then it asks for the full credit card number. Obviously a fraud. This was received on my work cell phone. I also received a call from what showed up as 19042 saying it was Washington Mutual Bank and that it had locked my ATM card. It had the same message about pressing one. Of course, there is no Washington Mutual Bank any more. I called the 701 number back and got a recording thanking me for my interest in their promotion, but if I wanted my number removed to press one. Very sketchy.

This number called my cell phone - in Nova Scotia! - I did not pick up.

Called me and left no message. Googled and found this page. Added to block list on cell phone.

Got a call at NIGHT from HSBC bank saying my debit card has been BLOCKED and I have to press 2 to unlock it!Almost pressed it as it was at 1 am at night!

Got a message from this phone number. It was a recording about a Washington Mutual Credit Card. Push 1 to reactivate and push 2 to refer to the security department. I just hung up. Obviously a scam call.

I'm from Prince Edward Island as well, and they kept calling my cellphone. No asking for important info, just "josh" asking survey questions about traveling.

NUMBER 701-509-8703 KEEPS CALLING MY CELL PHONE......NEVER LEAVES A MESSAGE AND HANGS UP WHEN I ANSWER IT. UNK WHO IT IS OR WHAT THEY WANT.

In the last week I have recieved two phone calls from 701-509-8709 with a recording stating that they could lower my Master Card interest rate. I was given the option both times to press 1 to speak to someone. I pressed 1 both times. THe first call I explained that I do not owe anything on a credit card and to remove my name from their list. The person said it would be removed. However I got the same call today and when I pressed 1 to speak to some one and explained that I don't have any credit cards to lower the interest on she slammed the phone down.

Keep getting calls from this number. Have no idea who it is or what they want.
