call just came into my pre-paid cellphone.. when I answered, they only said "goodbye".. guess they figured they weren't going to get something out of someone with a pre-paid cell.. lol

I called my state attorney general and filed a complaint. they were very thankful and said to always report to them bad businesses, or scams like this.

Received this call. The recorded message said that my debit card had been stolen. I hung up before the message was complete. they said they were from my credit union, which is a local credit union. I checked my wallet and found my debit card was still there, but then I wondered if the card had been stolen due to paying a bill over my phone or online. I tried calling the number later and I got a recorded message and said if I do not want to receive promotional calls to press 1. I pressed 1. Now i feel like I should have just hung up.

Same thing happened to me that happened to Kapu. A female recorded voice advised my Mastercard ATM/Debit card had been locked and to press 1 to unlock. Since I don't have a MC, the fraud was obvious.

Female wanting me to participate in a survey. Declined!

This happened to me. Call YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL to file a complaint.

Just got a call from them claiming to be from the NCUA (National Credit Union Association) telling me that my debit card had been deactivated. Hmm. Which credit union? Open on Sunday? Scam all the way.

I was at work and I missed the call with this number 701-509-8703. I didn't answer. I see now that I shouldn't ahve accornding to the recent messages that I just read. How would they have gotten my number in the first place??

Received call on 11/20/2011 saying that my debit card has been locked and to press 1 to re-activate it

received a call from this number today around 4:07 pm did not say anything
